How to reach the publication, and what for

Corrections, right of reply, register applications and newsletter sponsorship, with what we do and do not respond to.

Corrections and right of reply

If something published here is inaccurate, write with the page reference and the correction you propose. We publish corrections with a visible note on the page. We do not remove accurate material at anybody's request.

Regulatory and standards notes

If you work at a regulator, a standards body, an enforcement authority or a trade association and something here misreads an instrument or is out of date, we would like to hear it and we will correct it quickly. Please include the reference.

Register and newsletter

For a register entry, read criteria and rates first, then write with the legal entity name, registered number, services and accreditation reference where held. For the newsletter sponsor line, the terms and the rate are on the newsletter page.

What we do not respond to

Link requests, guest post offers, product samples, press releases about product launches, and requests for a product to be reviewed, rated or added to a comparison. None of those things exist here. Samples sent to us are not opened and not returned.

How

Write to editorial [at] sunblockspf.com. For commercial matters, register [at] sunblockspf.com. We answer what we can answer.

One thing we cannot help with

We cannot answer questions about your skin, a mole, a reaction, sunburn or your own risk. That is not modesty, it is the boundary of what this publication is. Please speak to a GP or a pharmacist, or start with the NHS guidance on sunscreen and sun safety.

The wording note

One email a fortnight on sun protection claim language: what changed in the codes, what a published ruling turned on, and one phrase examined in full. Written for people who write, approve or check labels and advertising. Unsubscribe whenever you like.

Each issue carries one clearly labelled sponsor line, sold from a published rate card that cannot influence any claim ruling. We use your address for the newsletter and nothing else. See privacy.

Editorial disclosure

This page contains no commercial links. No sunscreen brand, product, laboratory, consultancy, retailer or supplier has paid for, been offered, or been promised any mention anywhere on this site, and no product is named. Every outbound link goes to a public institution or a published instrument and is marked nofollow. Published by Northbank Media.
